Vegas might be known for its nightlife and entertainment, but it’s also becoming an increasingly popular destination for weddings! With world-class dining, luxury accommodations, and an exciting energy that’s hard to match, Las Vegas offers the perfect backdrop for a celebration that’s anything but ordinary.
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to visit and tour The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. Located right in the heart of the iconic Vegas Strip, this luxury hotel offers a variety of stunning wedding venues that blend modern sophistication with timeless elegance, which is perfect for today’s stylish couple. One of the standout spaces we absolutely fell in love with was The Chelsea: a chic, urban venue with a unique personality and charm. However, for couples dreaming of a grand, show-stopping celebration, the hotel also features spacious ballrooms that can accommodate larger guest counts without compromising on style or service.
Read on as we dive into the standout wedding spaces The Cosmopolitan offers, along with the luxurious accommodations and amenities that make this hotel a top-tier destination for your big day!
The Chelsea Theater

Out of all the incredible spaces we toured during our visit to The Cosmopolitan, The Chelsea Theater was hands-down our favorite. Originally designed as a performance venue, this space has hosted everything from concerts and comedy shows to elegant weddings, bringing an energy and uniqueness that truly sets it apart from any other venue we visited in Las Vegas.
From the moment you arrive, The Chelsea makes a statement. The entrance is styled like a vintage movie theater, complete with dramatic overhead lighting and LED screens that can be customized for your event. Whether you're showcasing your wedding hashtag, monogram, or a custom welcome message, it’s the perfect opportunity to personalize your guest experience and capture some unforgettable pre-event photos.
The Foyer

(Capacity: up to 100 guests, banquet style) The Foyer continues the old-Hollywood feel with vintage-inspired décor and warm, ambient lighting. This space is not only visually stunning, but also incredibly versatile. We’d recommend using it as a cocktail hour lounge, especially if your ceremony is being held elsewhere in the hotel. It features a built-in space for a bartender and works beautifully with high-top tables, creating a stylish yet relaxed setting for guests to mingle. That said, it could easily be transformed into an intimate ceremony space as well. The customizable LED screen here adds another layer of personalization, and the staircase—with its unique lighting and design—is a dream backdrop for photos.
The Parlor

(Capacity: up to 75 guests) Located just above the main theater floor, the Parlor is full of character and charm. Designed with a nod to backstage theatrics, it’s adorned with authentic theater ropes, vintage props, and old theater seats, giving it a distinct personality unlike any typical wedding space. If you’re using the Foyer for your ceremony, the Parlor makes a fantastic option for cocktail hour. Guests can enjoy the view of the Chelsea floor below while sipping cocktails in this theatrical, creatively styled space.
The Chelsea Floor

(Capacity: up to 150 guests, banquet style) The main Chelsea Theater floor is a showstopper. With its built-in stage, professional lighting, and spacious layout, it's perfect for a wedding reception or a lively Sangeet night. Since this venue is already equipped to host top-tier entertainment, you can utilize its stage and theatrical lighting like spotlights for key moments like first dances, speeches, or performances.
The Ballrooms

For couples planning a larger-than-life celebration, The Cosmopolitan also offers beautiful ballroom spaces that can accommodate up to 500 guests in a banquet-style setup. Whether you're envisioning a grand reception, a vibrant Sangeet, or a traditional ceremony with a larger guest list, these ballrooms provide the space and elegance to bring your vision to life.
Each ballroom has its own distinct aesthetic, allowing you to choose a space that aligns with your wedding style. The Nolita Ballroom features classic chandeliers and a more traditional ambiance—perfect for a timeless and romantic look. On the other hand, The Belmont Ballroom leans more modern with sleek finishes and contemporary details.

While these ballrooms may follow a more conventional layout, the elevated lighting design and stylish décor throughout keep them far from ordinary. If you're looking for versatility, scale, and sophistication all in one, these spaces are a solid choice.
Vendor & Catering Information
When it comes to food and beverage, The Cosmopolitan does not allow outside catering. However, their in-house culinary team is experienced, flexible, and ready to work closely with you to craft a customized menu that meets your cultural and culinary needs—including Indian and fusion cuisine. Whether you're planning a traditional plated dinner or a vibrant buffet-style spread, the in-house chefs aim to deliver both flavor and presentation to match your celebration.
As for other vendors, The Cosmopolitan does offer in-house options for DJ, photography, and videography services. Couples are also welcome to bring in their own preferred vendors for these categories if they already have a team in mind or want something more tailored to their style.
Additional Information & Nearby Highlights
One of the many perks of hosting your wedding at The Cosmopolitan is its prime location and connectivity. As part of the MGM Resorts family, the hotel is directly connected to both the Aria and Bellagio via easy walkways or tram. This opens up a world of possibilities for couples considering multi-venue, multi-day celebrations. For example:

Plan a romantic Western-style ceremony in one of Bellagio’s iconic outdoor spaces.
Use Aria’s veranda and ballroom for a traditional Indian wedding ceremony followed by a grand reception.
These nearby resorts also give your guests more options to explore, whether they’re interested in trying a new casino, indulging in fine dining, or just strolling through some of the most luxurious hotels on the Strip.
